I wanted to become a Baker Street Girls Club Member!
A thoroughly enjoyable quick read that takes you away form our fast paced lives and allows you to luxuriate in the memories of life long friendships. There are no stronger friendships than those of true girlfriends and if you are fortunate enough to have had some of these relationships (you know, the ones where you may not see or talk to each other for years, but when you do meet up again, it's like no time has passed and there is no awkwardness) this book will make you smile, cry and recall warm memories long ago buried. The sense of humor that Ramona Tipton has imbued her characters with will remind you of the works of Fannie Flagg. The characters are real southern forces to be reckoned with! The use of the flashback/flashforward technique keeps you wondering just which character is telling the story. I urge you to read and enjoy this gem of a book and look forward to more from this author.

Driven to turning pages
This is a quick, fun read. The author has a gift for making you go to the next chapter after finishing the preceding one. Ideal for teenage girls, it demonstrates the values of friendship and perseverence. I especially was warmed by Mr. Shoemaker's generosity. Would love to see more, i.e. stories with each of the girls to get to know them better. I'll bet there are more adventures in Ramona Tipton's bag! I look forward to reading them.

Loved the book , it's an enjoyable book to read I found myself in this book as I was growing up and as I entered adult hood and all the things that life can give and can take away, I could not put this book down, If you have ever fell in love, had a best friend, shared secrets with some one you've got to read this book, I think that Ramona did an excellent job on her book, and I'm looking forward to reading her next book.
